BiS Gear Guide for Feral Druid
Feral aims for the highest item level pieces available for the bonusAgility, after that, Critical Strike and Mastery are the secondaries ofchoice. The only items that tend not to follow the item level rule isJewelry, as these have no Agility. Thus, power is weighted moretoward ideal secondary stats. Visit our Stats page for more details.

BiS List for Feral Druid
This list is the ideal DPS setup, including all sources available tous. This includes Crafting, Raids, Mythic+, and even The Great Vault. Therefore, think of this more as an end goal to work toward, as this list providesthe most balanced end setup, assuming you have access to everything. Allcrafts use Draconic Missive of the Peerless unless otherwise stated.

For our crafted embellishment pieces, Feral aims to pick up a Neck and Bracersas offpieces for better stat options. While it has inconsistent uptime, the valueof double Blue Silken Lining is just too high and even when inconsistent, still provides the best option in all content.

Note: this is not a list for the best gear to wear when doing Mythic+,and instead a list of the best gear available from these dungeons in each respective slot. Forthat, see the overall list.

I cannot stress enough how much weaker Mythic+ trinkets arein this season. As such, if you are not engaging in any Raid content atall it is your top priority to use Season 4 Antique Bronze Bullion to acquirebetter options instead.

Best Gear To Spend Bullion On For Feral Druid
In Dragonflight Season 4, a new currency has been added in the form of Antique Bronze Bullion. This allows you to target specific, powerful items that can sometimes be hard toobtain at a special vendor in Valdrakken. Due to some very rare pieces beingextremely high value for Feral in different types of content, we have splitrecommended purchases into Raid and Mythic+:
5.
Best Bullion Purchases
RaidingMythic+
4.1.
Feral Druid Bullion Purchases for Raiding
Due to raiding having a higher focus on single-target and throughput, recommendations here lean into dealing as much boss damage as possible. Inparticular, very rare or unique items that are obtained from the raids aresought after by many specs and as such are more difficult to obtain naturally,so have a higher priority.
High Priority
Rashon, the Immortal Blaze or
Djaruun, Pillar of the Elder Flame
Ashes of the Embersoul
Cataclysmic Signet Brand or
Neltharion's Call to Suffering
Seal of Diurna's Chosen
Nice to Have
Voice of the Silent Star*
Seal of Filial Duty
Ominous Chromatic Essence*
Manic Grieftorch*
A weapon is your first priority, so if you want pure boss damage, pick up Rashon, the Immortal Blaze, while if you want some flexibility for othercontent types take
Djaruun, Pillar of the Elder Flame.
Seal of Diurna's Chosenis also a good pickup for additional single-target damage that cannot be obtainedelsewhere.
For trinket options, Ashes of the Embersoul remains king thanks to thesynergy with
Convoke the Spirits, with
Cataclysmic Signet Brandproves the most powerful single-target damage alongside a clean way totrigger
Seal of Diurna's Chosen for extra bonus throughput. Its ramp timehowever, means having the option to
Neltharion's Call to Suffering or even
Ominous Chromatic Essence for more upfront or consistent damage profilesis nice to have. Finally,
Manic Grieftorch provides an extra burst tool thatalso gains value with allied deaths, giving it more potential than others incertain encounters.
For defense, Seal of Filial Duty is very high value for the additionalshields provided, though Feral relies on weapons and trinkets to trigger it.
Voice of the Silent Star is a pure throughput increase, but the loss ofStamina is significant enough that it is at your discretion as a purchase.
4.1.
Feral Druid Bullion Purchases for Mythic+
As Mythic+ has a lot more AoE present, with a higher burden on personalsurvivability some of the selections are different compared to raidingequivalents. There is also more of a priority on obtaining powerful trinkets, asMythic+ options this season are relatively weak in comparison.
High Priority
Djaruun, Pillar of the Elder Flame
Ashes of the Embersoul
Neltharion's Call to Suffering
Seal of Diurna's Chosen
Nice to Have
Ominous Chromatic Essence
Storm-Eater's Boon*
Manic Grieftorch*
Seal of Filial Duty
Djaruun, Pillar of the Elder Flame is much more potent in Mythic+ wherethere is more of a premium on extra burst and multi-target tools, giving it theedge.
With trinkets, Ashes of the Embersoul is irreplaceable as a force amplifierto our 2-minute burst windows, paired with
Neltharion's Call to Suffering'spowerful procs. Alternatively, while a full buff suite is not guaranteed in Mythic+,
Ominous Chromatic Essence works as a consistent alternative.
Manic Grieftorch makes a good niche pick for priority damage and burst, while
Storm-Eater's Boon provides a dangerous but very potent uncappedAoE tool, provided it does not get you killed.
Unlike the raid equivalent setup, there is less access to consistent fire damagesources making both Seal of Diurna's Chosen and
Seal of Filial Dutyless consistent, giving them less of a premium.
Voice of the Silent Starshould also be avoided here as the Stamina loss is much more tangible.

"Simming" Yourself as a Feral Druid
Throughout this page and elsewhere in our guide, we regularly refer to theimportance of simming yourself on Raidbots. This is because every character is unique, and each individual gear piece you have access to can change the overall balance andalter what is best right now for you.
While we do offer generic sim charts for Trinkets and offer recommendations, theseare not complete replacements for simming yourself. The only way to truly optimizeyour character to that degree is by making use of the tools available!
If you are new to simming and Raidbots, check out our detailed guide below.

Tier Set Bonus for Feral Druid in Season 4
The Season 4 set bonus chosen for Feral Druid is the same as theSeason 3 Amirdrassil set, the Benevolent Embersage's Guidance. Thisfocuses on Feral Frenzy, and confers the following bonuses:
Druid Feral 10.2 Class Set 2pc - Casting
Feral Frenzy grants
Smoldering Frenzy for 8 seconds, increasing all damage you dealby 20%.
Druid Feral 10.2 Class Set 4pc - Reduces the cooldown of
Feral Frenzyby 15 seconds, and during
Smoldering Frenzy, enemies burn for10% of all damage you deal to them as Fire over 10 seconds.
Either of these bonuses makes Feral Frenzy a mandatorytalent point to activate it. This puts your damage on a 30-second cooldowncycle aligned with each Feral Frenzy cast, in which you want to have all ofyour Bleed management set up before entering into the window. While active, you want to focus on filling it with high-value casts such as
Ferocious Bite,so pooling is needed due to the short duration. It also opens up the option toplay both
Convoke the Spirits and, in some cases, reduce its cooldown via
Ashamane's Guidance depending on encounter to get extra triggers.
As it can be obtained through all 3 different raids, The Great Vault andthe Revival Catalyst, it should be quite easy to acquire the 4-piece bonus early,so it should be prioritized. The bosses within each raid that drop each piece areas follows:
Slot | Vault | Aberrus | Amirdrassil |
---|---|---|---|
Helm | Raszageth | Magmorax | Tindral Sageswift |
Shoulder | Broodkeeper Diurna | Echo of Neltharion | Smolderon |
Chest | Kurog Grimtotem | Zskarn | Nymue |
Gloves | Dathea | Forgotten Experiments | Igira the Cruel |
Legs | Sennarth | Rashok | Larodar |
Omni-Token | Raszageth | Sarkareth | Fyrakk, the Blazing |

Best Feral Druid Crafting Order
Crafting OrderCrafting Details
8.1.
Best Crafting Order for Feral Druid
This is our general recommendation for the best Crafting Order. Due to Feralweapons costing two Sparks of Shadowflame and the high value of Embellishments,we opt into getting those crafted first. All crafts, unless otherwise stated, use a Draconic Missive of the Peerless wherever possible.
Torc of Passed Time using
Blue Silken Lining,
Life-Bound Bindings using
Blue Silken Lining,
Signet of Titanic Insight (with
Alchemical Flavor Pocket)
- Lowest Item Level Piece.
If you are still struggling to acquire a weapon at this point, you can investtwo sparks into an Obsidian Seared Halberd.
With Season 4 raising the value of Blue Silken Lining even higher,it is now difficult to fault even with lower uptime due to the sheer amount ofMastery provided.
Shadowflame-Tempered Armor Patch is an alternativefor consistency if you are worried (and provides a nice activator for
Seal of Diurna's Chosen) though, but falls behind significantly in AoEscenarios.
8.1.
Feral Druid Crafting Details
Embellishments either come set on items as standard orcan be added with an optional reagent when crafting the piece. Theseprovide additional bonuses (and in some cases quite large ones) butare limited to two. Due to there being so many options, here weexplain in detail the ones available that are worth considering:
Blue Silken Lining - while the uptime is not consistentdue to the amount of chip damage, even as low as 40% uptime providesa significant increase to one of our strongest stats - Mastery. Thismeans that even if you cannot guarantee a high uptime, it still gainsa lot of value over weaker tuned alternatives available.
Shadowflame-Tempered Armor Patch - less risky than usingthe above Embellishment as it does not risk losing value when you takedamage. Can also serve as an activator for the
Seal of Diurna's Chosenring, but the performance loss is enough to make this more of a comfortpick.
Toxic Thorn Footwraps - these still do solid single-targetdamage, but the investment and loss of Stamina when alternatives areequivalent or more flexible makes them a less desirable choice thanprevious seasons.
Toxified Armor Patch - can be applied to any Leatherarmor piece to double up on the value from Toxic Thorns, making itan alternative, even though it does increase the Stamina loss downsideof using them.
Elemental Lariat* - While this is a good alternative, thevalue it provides relative to
Blue Silken Lining means you wouldneed to be unable to maintain it almost at all to keep up. This pairedwith needing a full suite of 8 sockets to make useful makes it notworth considering in Season 4.
Undulating Sporecloak - Grants Versatilitywhile above 70% that can be easily maintained. Unfortunately, both theoffensive and defensive effects are far too weak to consider and as sucheven though it may look appealing, is not worth it.
Slimy Expulsion Boots* - these are weaker than Toxic Thornsas the downside of losing Haste is more pronounced andas such you should avoid crafting these.
Alchemical Flavor Pocket* - this does notrequire an Embellishment slot, and as such, it is worth usingto avoid losing your Well Fed buff should you die.

Trinkets for Feral Druid in Season 3
There are a number of strong options available for Feral in Season 3coming from a variety of different sources. Key ones to look for in orderof strength are:
Trinket | Note |
---|---|
![]() | A huge amount of frontloaded agility on the same cooldown as ![]() ![]() ![]() |
![]() | Passive Versatility that comes with a big Agility proc triggered by DoTeffects. While RNG, the value of these procs is really big, making it a greatpick for any type of content. That flexibility makes it worthwhile in bothraids and Mythic+. |
![]() | Deals extremely high single-target damage but takes up to 3 minutes tofully ramp up. While the backlash damage is quite high, surviving through itis fine and definitely worth it. Also provides an activator for the![]() |
![]() | A pure stat stick option with the flexibility to shift the stat gained basedon your gearset. Some of the value relies on 4 allies also wearing one toactivate the secondary buffs, but this is still a solid trinket on its ownas a consistent pick for both Raid and Mythic+. |
![]() | A Critical Strike stat stick that has additional secondary procs so long asan allied Healer and Tank are also using it. While this is a good option on itsown, it is slightly more restrictive for gearing than the above, and it is alsounlikely tanks will be using this to activate the full buff suite in Season 4. |
![]() | Deals very high burst damage every 2 minutes, with large cooldown reductionshould an ally die. This can be very useful for priority targets in both raidsand Mythic+, and the hidden value in the CDR can sometimes be a lifesaver. Whilenot numerically as strong as alternatives, the potential makes this worthy ofconsideration. |
![]() | This is a very niche option that provides a huge uncapped AoE burstwindow, though infrequently. While the potential is very high for Mythic+situations, the fact that you remain rooted for the duration puts you inextreme danger while it is active. This danger paired with the longcooldown means it requires very careful planning and the right situation tobe worthwhile, so use at your own discretion. |
